Visit Onondaga Lake | Various Colors
The lake is back. Mostly.
For a long time, Onondaga Lake was the punchline — most polluted lake in America, Superfund site, the kind of place you drove past and kept your windows up. But the cleanup happened. The fish came back. The herons came back. And yeah, the mercury levels are actually, measurably better now.
So we made a shirt about it.
The back says everything: a largemouth bass launching out of the water at golden hour, the Syracuse skyline behind it, and the ribbon that tells the whole story — Now With 40% Less Mercury! It’s technically a compliment. Wear it to the new aquarium when it opens. Wear it fishing. Wear it and let someone from out of town ask questions.
Printed on soft Airlume cotton that’s light enough for a full day outside and comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing it.
